Africa Year of Peace: Message from the Secretary General
I start by conveying warm greetings of peace to all of our readers.
On 31st August 2009 the Heads of State and Government of the African Union met in Tripoli, Libya on the occasion of a special Session on the Consideration and Resolution of conflicts in Africa and declared 2010 to be the Year of Peace and Security for the Continent.
